As the founding mother of Theoreasy it’s my passion to show and teach the world how to work and live in a way that generates positive energy. I believe that every person is in its heart a beautiful person with a natural talent to bring something positive to this world. We create our world together. Let’s take responsibility and start co-creating a world where we can be proud of. And let’s enjoy life! To begin with a piece of home-made apple-pie… Knowmads is my tribe. I am so happy to be there. Being there is getting there!

Alex Falk Alex Falk
In my past I have started and managed 4 companies. I even made it through a bankruptcy =) I have worked and learned as a consultant with organizations like Phlilips Design (NL), Whitworth Art Gallery (UK), Thorn (SE), DeBaak (NL) and Parents Circle – Families Forum (IL). I consider myself a multitasker crossing many disciplines and staying open for new perspectives. As a leader I see myself as a facilitator, aiming to provide the optimal conditions for a group to take flight. Trust and autonomy are key words in my professional life.

Selma Steenhuisen Selma Steenhuisen
Hi! it might be interesting to share that I’ve started an ngo for exchange projects named ‘Access to One World’, worked with diverse organisations from Ordina to Business Times Ltd to Ashoka in fields from product development to workshop facilitation. Good education is close to my heart and I hope to contribute my share to it.

Hi my name is Guus and I have studied at the KaosPilotsNL. Since we have closed down the school I am now busy helping the Knowmads to start off. I am trying to shake some things up at social media and I try to do my share in reaching potential students for the first Knowmads Team! Besides this I think along with creating the program at the Knowmads.
Drop me a line to get in touch and I hope to see you in January at our school!

“After studying at the Theatre School of Amsterdam I chose for the KaosPilots in Rotterdam. I believe strongly in storytelling. And it is in everything I do. Wether it is in workshops I facilitate, brainstorm sessions I am part of or in my work as editor for the magazine Ode. With great joy I am also part of this magical Knowmads story. To listen, tell and spread the word!”

Creation is my passion, i absorb every bit of information and the internet facilitates me in bringing these two together. I run my own 1 person company in design and development of websites, user interfaces and other interaction based applicationary. My ultimate goal is global transparency (open source) in information exchange. Patents and copyright-acts make us invent the wheel over and over again, what progression is in that ?

Advisory Board/Board of Recommendation

We are happy that we can present you our advisory board/board of recommendation! Old and new friends who give us advice on how to transform our education into the new Knowmads.

People on the advisory board

John Moravec John Moravec, PhD, Education Futures USA
“I am delighted to team up with Knowmads! Knowmads transform ideas about the futures of work, school and society into entrepreneurial action. As truly global students, they learn, work, play and share in almost any configuration, and under any circumstance. They are our new innovative creatives, designers of the 21st century, and our emerging leaders. KnowmadsNL is important in that it enables emerging leaders to take true ownership of their education, utilizing their heads, hands and heart.”

Tommy Tommy Hutchingson, Founder & CEO I-genius
“Kaospilots/Knowmads take a really innovative approach to adult learning and in developing individuals talents and entrepreneur abilities. Their work is perfectly designed to enhance students self confidence and belief in what they can achieve. Every student is given support and encouragement to explore themselves and stretch their imagination. I have been struck by the very powerful chemistry between the students. They are a real community where the friendships are likely to endure for a lifetime. I have worked with them on our World summit for social entrepreneurs in Thailand and visited their school. They are very collaborative, stimulating and a joy to work with. The World needs more schools like Kaospilots/Knowmads.”

Ynzo Ynzo van Zanten, Ex CEO Innocent Benelux and founder GreenInc.
“Working with Kaospilots, or Knowmads for that matter, is always a refreshing surprise. You never know what you’re going to get, but the outcome tends to always exceed the expectation. Creative people, who don’t take themselves too serious, but who do take their cause very serious.”

Marco Marco Visscher, Managing Editor Ode magazine www.odemagazine.com
“Unlike any other education institution, Knowmads addresses a growing and important need: the desire to make change happen. To be a successful changemaker, people have to learn a set of skills that helps them thrive, as well as the world they live in. With its focus on stimulating personal growth and fighting social ills, even on a global scale, Knowmads is offering exactly this. Its program is as ambitious as it can get in the educational field: serving personal and social development… Isn’t that’s what life should be all about?”

Neil Crofts Neil Crofts, Founder of Authentic Business
“Our future is uncertain and we have done much that makes it less certain. Our children and their children will have to behave differently if human society is to have a future. We, who are responsible, must give them every support in working out new ways of being in commerce, government and every area of human activity. This is why business schools such as Knowmads are so important and why I feel honoured to have the opportunity to work with them.” www.neilcrofts.com

Martin Martin Cadée, Co-Founder KaosPilots Netherlands
“The Knowmads bring something we need so much in our society right now: HOPE! Anyone who is awake can see that we are in dear need of new ways, new solutions. More of the same doesn’t work anymore. Acknowledging and understanding that academically is one thing. But to create change we need a little more. And that’s where the Knomads come in, with a focus on action and creating results. Pioneering a new approach to entrepreneur education.Very inspiring! Very needed!”
