    30 Day Diet Challenge

    Update

Laura, Kim, and Kristin are all going strong in their 30 days of health challenge. Laura has given up sugar, caffeine, and alcohol. Kim and Kristin have given up sugar and limited their amount of caffeine. All 3 are alive and well. There have been reports of crazy and vivid dreams happening from 3 participants which may be the side effect of kicking the sugar habit. Unlike what the project entailed, there will be no blogging or posting their feelings or findings because the other projects are taking precedent within Mayhem and there’s just not enough time to share.

    Short Description of the Project

This project is all about a change of diet for a month. And not just eating less of this an less of that but
a radical change! We’re abandoning SUGAR, CAFFEINE & ALCOHOL. So, this means no coffee – no
chocolate – no soda’s – and lot’s of stuff more we can’t eat. Did you know how many product actually contain
sugar? Well, we are going to find out and avoid these products. In this project we’ll keep you updated about
our feelings and findings during this month. And in the mean time we hope to inspire you towards a more
    responsible diet.

What goals do you want us to achieve?
    - not eating sugar, caffeine and alcohol for a whole month
    - share with the world by posting findings & feelings
    - create more awareness & start a discussion about the subject
    - spread the message: THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU EAT.

Why do you think this is a good assignment for project Mayhem?.

Firstly, because there is a story to be told about the FOOD WE EAT and the effects of sugar. And what
better way to do that in a personal way! This can really speak to people. The actual effects are to be shown
from our own experiences. It’s not just a scientist telling we shouldn’t eat so much sugar.
Second, within a hectic MAYhem month we also need to take care of our bodies.

Sugar Blues (1975) is a book by William Dufty. The central argument in the book is that consumption of
refined sugar is unnatural and damaging to human health, causing major differences in physical and mental
    well-being.
    Who are you?
Laura & Kristin tribe fivers who are motivated to do this!
