Hello hello!

My name is Jorinde.
I’m a student, I’m a daughter, I’m a Salsa dancer, I’m a song-sing-a-long girl, I’m a Horse rider, I’m a chickflick watcher, I’m a sister, I’m a die hard Lady GaGa fan, I’m a soccer dummy, I’m a former Spice Girls fan, I’m a runner and… I’m a Knowmad.

Up until about four weeks ago, I was a ‘normal’ student at the University for Applied Sciences in Amsterdam, studying Human Resource Management. Within my studies, I decided to choose a minor called Sustainable Leadership & Entrepreneurship. This is were I met Pieter Spinder and Pieter Kuijpers of Knowmads who were teaching the minor. Pieter and Pieter gave students the possibility to bring their passion into the world, by working on entrepreneurial projects and learning about personal leadership.

This kind of education, where students are responsible and in charge of their own learnings, really attracted me into checking out Knowmads. After visiting Knowmads at a WTF lecture of Thomas Crum, it really felt like coming home for me.

Ever since joining Knowmads about 3 weeks ago, it’s been a great, chaotic, fun, crazy, experimental, creative and meaningfull experience. Everyday at Knowmads is a new exciting adventure, were I can discover what passions and talents I have and how I want to bring this into the world.

I’m a person who loves to work with people from all ages and backgrounds and together create, innovate and make the world a better place. Within my year at Knowmads, I want to discover much more about what I want to contribute to the world and start my own business by doing so.

I believe “The only impossible journey, is the one you never begin”.
