Taking off

Dear all,

We are proud and happy to announce that Team 3 will start the 15th of February in our building at Hembrugstraat/ Zaandammerplein in Amsterdam.

The 7th and 8th of January we held the very first Knowmads application workshop. We invited 19 students and 16 students were there. Unfortunately Amna (Visa difficulty), Hilda (sickness) and Ieva (work) couldn’t be there.

With the other sixteen we had two very special days.
We met each other, observed, interviewed, closed down the days and partied together!

In the meanwhile the applicants worked 22 hours on a real-life project: Roel van den Berg, Ellen Zwienink, Thomas Jacobs and Marcel Kampman brought in a real life assignment from Randstad and performed the role of jury on behalf of Randstad.

The following Saturday we talked about the individual students and about the most feasible team, afterwards we ritually burned the observation forms.

We are still working on housing for the students, if you happen to have 15 (or less) empty apartments available in the centet of Amsterdam please let us know.
